Jennifer Gil, BSN, RN is currently enrolled in the Health Leadership MSN program at the University of Pennsylvania. Her professional interests include understanding health economics, health policy, organizational dynamics, and addressing health disparities. 

Jennifer earned her BSN from the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing at Villanova University in 2013 where she was recognized as a Connelly-Delouvrier International Scholar, travelling to Peru and South Africa to provide nursing care to underserved populations. She currently practices at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as a clinical nurse in the Emergency Trauma Department where she also serves on their Shared Governance Steering Planning and Human Trafficking Committees.


Prior to this role, Jennifer practiced as a critical care and medical-surgical charge nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) while also serving on the Board of Directors for the American Nurses Association of Massachusetts. During this time, Jennifer served on the health policy committee and advocated on key nursing initiatives such as safe staffing and ending workplace violence.


In 2019, Jennifer was elected to serve on the American Nurses Association Board of Directors as Director-at-Large Staff Nurse. She was appointed this year to serve on ANA-PAC Board of Trustees where she hopes to continue her work in advocacy and healthcare initiatives.
